Smoked Eels in Olive Oil

This unique delicacy is harvest in the estuaries and rivers on east of Portugal, with carefully fishing techniques, for a constant and sustainable supply.

This boneless eel fillets are smoked using Holm oak wood and preserved in high quality olive oil, which results in exceptional taste. It has a succulent and firm meat texture and a rich flavor. Eel is low in sodium and high in phosphorous, very high in Omega-3, very rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B12, D and E.

Tasting suggestions: Wonderful for entrees, pate or served with a fresh green salad, a horseradish sauce and crusty bread.
